Police in Los Angeles have told Newsbeat they want to speak to Justin Bieber over claims he was involved in a row with a neighbour.
"There has been allegations made against Mr Bieber involving a simple battery," said Steve Whitmore, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department.
"Yesterday (March 26) at 9.08am we received a call about an incident in the Justin Bieber neighbourhood," he added.
The unnamed male neighbour made the complaint in Calabasas, Southern California.
"Battery is unwanted touching. Anything from raising an elbow, patting someone on the back, spitting on them or throwing water on them," Mr Whitmore said.
The 19-year-old has not been charged and no arrest warrant has been issued.
Justin Bieber has only just returned to the US after completing several dates on the European leg of his world tour.
There has been no official comment from Justin Bieber.
