Kanye West has reportedly finished his next album.

New York radio station Hot 97 revealed the rapper has completed work on the follow-up to 2010's 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy'.

Radio DJ Peter Rosenberg said on air that Kanye West's record label, Def Jam, recently hosted a listening event for the rapper's sixth solo offering.

"Everyone at the label that listened to the album loved it. I've heard it's dark, but really good," he said.

Collaborations

Daft Punk have worked on tracks on the new Kanye West album.

Thomas from the French duo told Rolling Stone magazine: "It was very raw, he was rapping - kind of screaming primally, actually."

Other guest contributors include TNGHT, Chief Keef and Azealia Banks.

Kanye West played a small number of live dates in London and Paris earlier in the year.

During a concert in Paris in March he announced he planned to release some new material in May.
