Kanye West has announced the release of his new studio album, which is yet to be given a title.

It is due to be released in the UK on Monday 17 June and is a follow-up to his 2010 solo album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

There are also rumours he could be teaming up with Jay-Z again after the pair previously released the Watch the Throne album.

The rapper will debut two new songs on the US TV show Saturday Night Live tonight.

The 35-year-old has also confirmed parts of his new album will be displayed around the world.

He tweeted: "New song and visual from my new album being projected tonight across the globe on 66 buildings, locations."

Kanye West played a small number of live dates in London and Paris earlier in the year.

During a concert in Paris in March he announced he planned to release some new material in May.
