The 24-year-old has been added to the line-up of the month long event that already includes Elton John, Robin Thicke and the Kings of Leon.

Also joining the bill at the free music event will be Bastille, who have their own headline slot on 8 September.

The band supported Emile Sande during last year's festival. Frontman Dan Smith says he's looking forward to the crowd knowing who he is this year.

"Last year we were massively distracted by seeing ourselves on giant TV screens for the first time! Hopefully this year, the crowd will also know some of our songs."

Other names announced include Jimmy Eat World, French Soler and Chic ft. Nile Rodgers who recently got the all clear from cancer.
