Olly Murs has confirmed he will return to The X Factor as a guest judge.
"Hey all, so there have been loads of rumours about it & I can confirm that YES I'll be @GaryBarlow's Guest Judge on this year's @TheXFactor," he tweeted.
He will support the Take That singer, who is mentoring the groups this series, at the judges' houses stage of the competition, in New York.
"And be prepared... #TheNewMrNasty lol," he added.
The Dance With Me Tonight singer was the show's runner-up in 2009.
After losing to Joe McElderry, he hosted spin-off programme The Xtra Factor in 2011 and 2012.
He stood down from the show earlier this year and was replaced by Matt Richardson.
Along with Gary, this year's judging panel features Sharon Osbourne, Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh, who has announced this will be his last series.
The former Pussycat Doll recently posted a picture of herself with her own guest judge, Mary J Blige, in Antigua.
Last week Gary Barlow revealed he would be releasing his first solo album in more than a decade.
He tweeted: "After 14 long years, I'm proud to announce my new solo album out on November 25th. I'm excited for you to hear it."
New material from Take That is also expected.
Speaking at the launch of The X Factor in August, he said: "There will be a Take That album next year, I can promise you that."
