Gwyneth Paltrow plans to return to the UK with family

Gwyneth Paltrow says she plans to "uproot" her family again and return to the UK.

The actress and her husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, had been living in London for the past few years with their two children.

But the couple moved to Los Angeles earlier this year.

In a new interview with Red Magazine she said she viewed the move as an "experiment" and expected to return to London in the near future.

"I don't want them (Apple, aged nine and Moses, aged seven) to be teenagers in LA. No way," the 41-year-old said.

"I'm looking at this like two years, three years, tops."

She said it was part of her "parenting philosophy" to have the opportunity to live in different cultures and for the children to have a chance to reinvent themselves.

Although she loves London, she says she is drawn back by her family and friends to California, where she grew up.

"I don't know, there was something about turning 40 and feeling like I needed to go home for a year or so," Paltrow said.

Her comments come ahead of a feature which is reportedly being prepared for Vanity Fair about the private life of the Oscar-winning star, cookbook writer and lifestyle guru.
