ASAP Rocky to replace Lamar at Parklife Weekender 2014
- Published
ASAP Rocky has replaced Kendrick Lamar on the line-up of this year's Parklife Weekender.
A statement, external on the festival's website said a "scheduling conflict" with Kendrick's tour means the rapper will not be able to appear at next month's event.
ASAP Rocky will now headline the Now Wave stage on Saturday 7 June at the Manchester event.
Lemar meanwhile will play a show at Gorge Amphitheatre in Washington.
Snoop Dogg and Foals were previously named as the headliners for Parklife Weekender.
Disclosure, Rudimental, Bastille and BBC Radio 1's Annie Mac will also play across the weekend.
The festival's website also lists a slot on the main stage line-up as "very special guest TBC".
ASAP Rocky is also set to perform at London's Lovebox Festival in July.
The organisers of Parklife Weekender recently apologised after sending marketing messages to mobile phones claiming to be from the recipients' mothers.
