The Prodigy, Blur and Fleetwood Mac were the headliners at this year's Isle of Wight Festival.
But we think there is so much more to a festival that those at the top of the bill.
There were sore throats and torrential downpours. But for the artists we spoke to this festival is one of the more special events on the calendar.
Pharrell remembers playing here "years ago with NERD".
"I'm pretty sure I sounded crazy, but not in a good way, but it is an English festival, so I am happy to be here."
Rory Williams, singer with Sunset Sons, told Newsbeat: "If I had a bucket list this would be on it. I just haven't written one down yet."
Illness was a another key part of the weekend, with a question mark over the headliners Fleetwood Mac.
They had cancelled recent UK dates because of illness but they did more than turn up.
The folk-rock legends were one of the standout moments of the weekend.
Jess Glynne pulled out of her Saturday slot because she had something wrong with her throat.
Ella Eyre flew her entire band back from their holiday to fill the slot.
"To be fair, what an excuse to fly them back," she told Newsbeat after her slot.
Saturday night headliners Blur were also suffering.
On stage, frontman Damon Albarn said he had lost his voice the day before and apologised if he "wasn't up to his usual whatever it was".
Then there was the matter of a world record attempt.
The challenge was the most amount of people in one place, wearing the same mask.
The mask was Jimi Hendrix, to honour the 45th anniversary of the last time he played the festival.
As yet we don't know if the record was broken.
