Newly crowned queen of the jungle Vicky Pattison says she's "buzzing like an old fridge" after her I'm A Celeb win.

The 28-year-old told the Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw that she feels "phenomenal".

"I was hoping to change a couple of people's opinions of us, but come on, a nation's? I mean, I didn't think I had that in me."

The Geordie Shore star beat Union J's George Shelley into second place. Towie star Ferne McCann finished third.

The young trio beat a host of older campmates like 80s crooner Tony Hadley and former Dragons' Den star Duncan Bannatyne to make it to the final.

"It was so lovely that it was a younger camp this year," Vicky told Nick Grimshaw.

"There was more energy and more vibrancy.

"Don't get us wrong, I was getting serenaded by Tony Hadley some nights. I mean come on, talk about a bucket list.

"But I think that's what we injected in to it this year. A little bit of fun. A little bit of silliness. And I think that's what you need.

"It's physically demanding and I think some of the older ones struggled with that, so that's where we could step in and have a laugh and be silly."

During Vicky's time in the jungle, she drank blended camel penis, dressed as a giant flying squirrel, and endured a human tombola with thousands of mealworms, cockroaches and crickets.

"That (Twisted Tombola) was one of my favourites," she said.

It was one of ours too, so here it is again. Just a quick warning, there's some fruity language.

"It was truly disgusting. There were far too many things going on. Far too many balls in such a small space, but I loved it. I got such a kick out of that.

"My least favourite was probably Horror Flying Circus that I did with Ferne.

"I was having to direct her and I don't know my right from my left.

"Bless her, she had her blindfold on and she was scared of everything at that point.

"I was trying to stay calm but my legs were shaking and I was thinking, 'If I send her the wrong way it's not just oopsie - I meant the other left.'

"She might have died. I was just so panicked the whole time I don't think I breathed."

But proving the jungle hasn't changed the former Geordie Shore star too much, she said: "Tonight I am getting smashed at the wrap party. Then tomorrow babes, suitcased back and home.

"Honestly I don't even get a chance to check out the local talent."
