Adele 'cried all day' after Grammy Awards performance mishap

Adele says she was so upset after performing All I Ask at the Grammy Awards that she cried all day.
There were technical difficulties which meant it sounded like there was a guitar in her performance and made her sound off-key.
"I was embarrassed. I woke up the next morning to people in England being like, 'We still love you, don't worry,'" she said.
"And I was like, 'I didn't ask you if you still loved me,' but thanks."
She said she could tell straight away something was wrong when the piano began to play.
"Sound check was great, it went really well. I was really excited," she told The Ellen DeGeneres Show, external.
"[But] during the change over in the ad break a microphone fell onto the piano strings which is what the guitar noise was.
"I heard it straight away and I wanted to turn.
"I knew what it was and I knew where the mic was and I wanted to turn around and lift it up but I froze."
But she joked: "I'm always a bit pitchy anyway. It's the emotion."
She says she's over it now though and says if it happens again she'll stop the music.

"I cried pretty much the whole day but in fairness, I would have cried if it had gone really well as well," she laughed.
"I always cry but yesterday I kept spontaneously bursting into tears."
Adele is due to perform at the Brit Awards next week.
