British stars joined celebrities in futuristic outfits at one of fashion's biggest events of the year, the Met Gala in New York.
Idris Elba, Emma Watson, Zayn Malik and Rita Ora were among the guests, where Beyonce, Madonna, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West also walked the red carpet.
The event follows the Metropolitan Museum of Art exhibit, Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology.pieces.
It also provided the gala's theme of the convergence of man and machine.
The exhibition will feature more than 100 both handmade haute couture and machine-made ready-to wear items.
The Met Gala has been going since 1948.
Each year, co-chairs and honorary event chairs are selected. Taylor Swift, Idris Elba, and Anna Wintour are this year's.
Most celebs walk the carpet with their designers.
Vogue's editor-in-chief Anna Wintour is the mastermind behind the whole event, and rumour has it that all outfits have to have her approval and that she even bans guests she doesn't know from buying tickets.
It's not a cheap affair. Attendees shell out $25,000 (£17,000) for an individual ticket or commit to a minimum $175,000 (£119,000) for a table of 10.
The event celebrates the opening of The Costume Institute's spring exhibition.
The Costume Institute contains more than 35,000 pieces of clothing and accessories made in five continents over seven centuries.
Past themes have covered everything from dance to punk to royal families. Last year's theme was China: Through The Looking Glass.

According to The New York Times, external, the Gala has raised more than $145m (£99m) for The Costume Institute since 1995.
The red carpet is 150 yards.
