A man has been cleared of stalking Kendall Jenner but has been convicted of trespass at her Hollywood home.

The half-sister of Kim Kardashian West claims she no longer feels safe in her home.

The 20-year-old told the jury she found a man in her driveway and that he banged on her car window in August.

She explained that she had "never been so scared in my life" and phoned friends for help.

The court was told Kendall "doesn't want to be surrounded by security" after the incident

But the defence claimed Shavaughn McKenzie didn't intend to scare her and only wanted to talk to her.

A former psychiatrist also said he was delusional and his behaviour was linked to his mental illness.

McKenzie's mother told jurors she tried to get help for her son, but he refused to take medication and claimed he disappeared last March.

The court heard that McKenzie, 25, had followed the reality star for 15 months before being arrested.

A similar case involving Gwyneth Paltrow was dropped earlier this year

However, officials said it wasn't clear how he found out that Kendall Jenner had moved to a hilltop home, which is only accessible by driving through a four-metre (13ft) gate.

The 25-year-old will be sentenced for trespassing next month and could face up to six months in prison.

It's the second time this year that a jury in Los Angeles has rejected a stalking case involving a celebrity.

In February, it was ruled that a man from Ohio didn't intend to cause Gwyneth Paltrow any harm after repeatedly sending her letters.
