From primary school kids to footballers and celebrities - everyone's doing the mannequin challenge.

In case you've been banned from using social media for a few days it's the art of... standing still.

No need to learn a new dance routine, just strike a hilarious action pose and become a moment frozen in time.

James Corden, Adele and Beyonce have already attempted the challenge and we have a feeling there are more videos to come.

Presidential nominee Hilary Clinton released her mannequin challenge today.

In the last stretch of the US elections the video urges voters not to "stand still" when they could be voting.

In the earliest videos posted online, back in October, the song Black Beatles by hip hop duo Rae Sremmurd is playing in the background.

The song has since been named as the soundtrack to the challenge.

But it doesn't look like it's a viral promo for Rae Sremmurd - because they were late to the game.

Not until last weekend did they get the audience to stand completely still while they recorded their version of the challenge.
