Kendall Jenner says she's been struggling with anxiety issues over the last year but is learning to cope.

Writing on her own website, external, the reality TV star and model says she's learnt some breathing exercises which help.

"Anxiety was a huge hurdle for me to deal with this past year (and security concerns didn't help), but I think I'm finally learning how to cope.

"I once had a really bad attack on a plane and just had to ride it out," she writes.

"I felt my heart beating a million miles an hour and I even went a little numb."

She says she's now getting better at relaxing while working and travelling.

"[I've] learned that it's all mental, so I try to prevent anxiety attacks by bringing my mind somewhere else."

She also says she misses her family when she's away working.

The star, who turned 21 last year, is still on Keeping Up With The Kardashians as well as appearing in fashion shows across the world - including November's Victoria's Secret show in Paris.

"The hardest part about my job is being away from home so often," she writes.

"I miss my sisters, the rest of my family and my friends so much when I'm away. But, it makes the time we have together that much more special."

Kendall Jenner has just been chosen as one of the 150 most fashionable women in the world, according to Harper's Bazaar magazine.

But she says her Vogue cover from September was her high point of 2016.

"The fact that I was on the cover of any Vogue was mind-blowing, but the September Issue was beyond anything I could've imagined," she says.

"I can't wait to see where 2017 takes my career, but I know I have big plans."

She also says moving house and travelling were highlights from the past 12 months.

She says she painted a wall pink in her new home because it's a calming colour.
