Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish and ex-banker Jenny Campbell join Dragons' Den

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish is joining the line-up of entrepreneurs on Dragons' Den.

The football boss will be accompanied by former banker Jenny Campbell as the new investors for the BBC Two show's 15th series.

The incoming dragons replace Nick Jenkins and Sarah Willingham in the new series, which starts later this year.

They'll join Peter Jones, who's been on the show since it launched, as well as Deborah Meaden and Touker Suleyman.

Wannabe businessmen and women will fight for their financial investment as well as potential support running their businesses.

Steve Parish said: "I'm thrilled to become a dragon and really excited to meet the entrepreneurs in this series, see what ideas they bring to the den and how I might be able to help them grow."

Jenny Campbell is the founder and chief executive of YourCash, a cash machine company.

During her time on the show, Sarah Willingham invested in a craft gin subscription business, a coconut product firm (with Nick Jenkins), a beauty product subscription service (with Nick Jenkins), a coffee-based body scrub, science-themed children's birthday parties and workshops (with Nick Jenkins) and a skin foundation for vitiligo sufferers.

Sarah Willingham said she was sad to leave the show after two series.

Nick Jenkins put money into a home appliances retailer (with Deborah Meaden), a magnetic dog and equine lead connector, an online double-dating app, freshly cooked baked beans, "slap-on" wrist watches and a gourmet pork scratching snack company.

Other entrepreneurs to have left Dragons' Den since it launched in 2005 are Simon Woodroffe, Rachel Elnaugh, Doug Richard, Richard Farleigh, James Caan, Hilary Devey, Theo Paphitis, Piers Linney, Kelly Hoppen and Duncan Bannatyne.

It's hosted by BBC journalist Evan Davis and is based on a Japanese series.
