Region Profile
The Glasgow electoral region of the Scottish Parliament covers the Glasgow City council area, the Rutherglen area of South Lanarkshire and a small eastern portion of Renfrewshire.
It is made up of nine constituencies - Glasgow Anniesland; Glasgow Cathcart; Glasgow Kelvin; Glasgow Maryhill and Springburn; Glasgow Pollok; Glasgow Provan; Glasgow Shettleston; Glasgow Southside; Rutherglen.
At the Scottish Parliament’s 2011 election, the Glasgow region returned one Conservative MSP; one Green Party MSP; two SNP members and three Labour MSPs.
