Essex shooting: Police knew of family for two years

Police have confirmed they had been aware of a man and the family involved in a shooting in Braintree early on Monday, for the past two years.

A woman and her two-year-old daughter died in the incident, and the suspected gunman is being treated for gunshot wounds in hospital, where he is under police guard.
