Terror suspect Babar Ahmad: 'I am fighting for my life'

British terrorism suspect Babar Ahmad will be told next week whether he can be extradited to the United States to stand trial.

Mr Ahmad, who has been held in prison pending extradition since 2004, is accused of running extremist websites and fundraising for terrorism. He has never been charged or faced trial in this country and denies any wrongdoing.

Here, in an exclusive interview for BBC News, he talks about being held in prison without trial for a record period of almost eight years.
