Foreign Secretary William Hague welcomes Heywood inquiry

Foreign Secretary William Hague has told the BBC he welcomes the "readiness" of the Chinese authorities to investigate the death of British businessman Neil Haywood in Chongqing in November 2011.

Chinese authorities say they believe Mr Heywood was murdered and are investigating the wife of a prominent party chief Bo Xilai in connection with the death.

Mr Bo is also being investigated over "serious discipline violations".
