Plaid Cymru leader says win is 'a reset for Welsh politics'
Plaid Cymru is celebrating its victory in the Caerphilly byelection for the Welsh Parliament.
Reform UK came second. Labour was third, suffering its first defeat in the area in about 100 years.
The Cabinet Office minister, Nick Thomas-Symonds, said Labour had a very tough fight on its hands ahead of the Welsh Parliament elections in May.
Plaid Cymru leader Rhun ap Iorwerth told BBC Breakfast the win was "historic for the political story of Wales".
