London Eye
The London Eye, or Millennium Wheel, is Europe's tallest ferris wheel. Current sponsors EDF Energy organised a special Jubilee Afternoon Tea Experience on the London Eye over the Jubilee weekend.
Ministry of Defence
This is the headquarters of the British Armed Forces, thousands of whom are taking part in ceremonial duties over the Jubilee weekend.
Houses of Parliament
The Houses of Parliament is made up of the House of Commons, the House of Lords and the Crown. The Queen's role is purely ceremonial - she opens and dissolves Parliament and signs her name to every Act of Parliament before it becomes law.
RAF Memorial
The memorial is dedicated to members of the RAF who died in WWI and WWII. The London Philharmonic Orchestra, seated on the final music herald barge of the pageant, played the Dambusters theme tune as it passed the memorial.
Royal Barge, Spirit of Chartwell
The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh travelled on a gilded barge - The Spirit of Chartwell - specially decorated with flowers from the royal gardens and furnished in 17th Century style. They were joined by Prince Charles and Camilla, Prince William and Catherine, and Prince Harry.
Gloriana, Royal Rowbarge
Gloriana is the largest rowed vessel in the UK. It has been specially built for the occasion and led the whole flotilla. The gilded barge is made from wood from sweet chestnut trees grown on Prince Charles' own private estate. Olympic gold-medal winners Sir Steve Redgrave and Sir Matthew Pinsent were among the 18 oarsmen aboard.
Havengore
The Duke of York, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, the Earl and Countess of Wessex, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, Prince and Princess Michael of Kent and London mayor Boris Johnson were aboard Havengore. In 1965, Havengore bore the coffin of Sir Winston Churchill at his state funeral.
Trinity House No 1 Boat
Trinity House No 1 Boat has the traditional role of accompanying the reigning monarch when at sea in British waters. On board was the Princess Royal and Vice-Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence.
Britannia royal barge
The Royal Yacht Britannia's barge took the Queen and Prince Philip from Chelsea Pier to the elaborately decorated Spirit of Chartwell. This vessel used to take the Queen to and from the former Royal Yacht Britannia until the ship was decommissioned in 1997.
Herald Fanfare
A fanfare performed by members of the Band of the Royal Marines heralded Her Majesty's arrival at every bridge. The Queen's Heralds in their heraldic tabards were also on board the vessel, decorated with heraldic flags.
Flags on Trinity 500s
Trinity 500s boats, rowed by naval cadets, carried the 54 Commonwealth flags. Each boat was fitted with a specially designed mast to display
a large flag.
