Abuse victims charity 'to burn Fifty Shades of Grey'
A charity for abuse victims is planning to burn copies of erotic bestseller Fifty Shades of Grey.
The trilogy - about a steamy romance between a businessman and a student - contains themes of sadism and masochism.
The director of Wearside Women in Need, Clare Phillipson, told 5 liveDrive it was not wrong to burn a book "that proposes being violent to a woman".
Publisher Random House said: "The sex scenes are entirely consensual."
