In pictures: Snowy Sunday for UK
Snow and ice has caused severe travel disruption. About 20% of flights were cancelled at Heathrow Airport on Sunday, while 10% of Monday's flights have been grounded.
Travel problems come in many forms, depending on who's doing the travelling. Jeremy Hart, who took this picture in the Surrey Hills near Milford, said: "With six-inch legs, four inches of snow presents a major challenge for a dachshund.”
Many of the weekend's sports fixtures were postponed due to the weather but Sunday's game between Chelsea and Arsenal went ahead despite the snow.
