Queen's Baton tours Isle of Man and Northern Ireland

The Queen's Baton Relay continued its journey around the British Isles this week ahead of the Commonwealth Games in July.

The baton toured the Isle of Man, where it was carried to the top of the Laxey Wheel. It also travelled on the steam railway and had a trip round Peel Harbour on an RNLI lifeboat.

It then moved on to Northern Ireland, where it was carried across the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge. After visiting the Giant's Causeway and Rathlin Island, the baton was treated to a bog snorkelling contest in Dungannon.
