Highlights of the Manchester 2002 Queen's Jubilee Baton Relay

The Queen's Jubilee Baton Relay took place before the Manchester 2002 Commonwealth Games.

The baton visited 23 nations and travelled more than 63,000 miles (101,000km) before it reached the UK. It was also carried by 5,000 people.

Some of pthose who took part have shared their memories with the BBC ahead of the Glasgow 2014 games.
