Tessa Munt MP: 'I was a victim of sexual abuse'
One of the MPs who wrote to the Home Secretary asking for an independent inquiry into child abuse allegations has revealed that she was herself a victim of sexual abuse.
Talking to Carolyn Quinn on BBC Radio 4's PM programme, Liberal Democrat MP Tessa Munt said she had been abused when she was a child but had not spoken about it until she was in her thirties.
"I am driven... it is important to me that we make it better for other people," she said.
