Paris attacks: UK shows support

Landmarks across the UK have been illuminated in the colours of the French flag as people pay tribute after more than 120 people were killed in a series of attacks in Paris.

Hundreds of people turned out for a vigil held in Trafalgar Square, London

Mobile phones lit up outside the National Gallery as people gathered for the vigil

In Cardiff, the Wales Millennium Centre had this display

Belfast City Hall was lit in the colours of the French national flag as an "act of solidarity"

Edinburgh Castle was lit up in the same way

The theme of solidarity with France continued at the Royal Border Bridge in Berwick-upon-Tweed
