What do 'average British Muslims' think?

More than half of British Muslims think homosexuality should be illegal and just under half think teachers shouldn't be gay.

Those are the findings of a survey commissioned for Channel 4 news.

The former head of the Equality and Human Rights Commission, Trevor Phillips, told the Victoria Derbyshire programme :

"We rarely hear what the average British Muslim person thinks".
