Brexit: Barnier seeks solutions to avoid hard Irish border

The EU's chief Brexit negotiator, Michel Barnier, says technical and regulatory solutions need to be found to avoid a hard border on the island of Ireland.

He was speaking after the latest round of talks with the Brexit Secretary, David Davis, which also included discussions about the rights of citizens and the UK's divorce bill.
