Marine E: Insurgent 'was going to die anyway'

An ex-Royal Marine who was accused of the murder of a wounded Taliban fighter has told the BBC he tried to kill himself after hitting "rock bottom".

Charges were dropped against Sam Deen - known until now as Marine E.

This is the first time he's revealed his identity.
