Michael Gove: Covid immunity passports ‘not the plan’

Conservative minister Michael Gove has dismissed claims of a Covid immunity passport, saying the government's priority was ensuring the vaccine was “effectively distributed and available”.

Independent business owners would be able to oversee who they admitted Mr Gove added in the interview with BBC Breakfast.

It comes after comments from Minister for Vaccine Delivery Nadhim Zahawi, who said the government was “looking at the technology”.
