The US votes in midterm elections on Tuesday 8 November

Results are still being declared in the US midterm elections, with control of Congress hanging in the balance.

Republicans are likely to take control of the House of Representatives but the Senate fight is on a knife-edge - with a run-off in the state of Georgia expected.

The results of Senate races in Nevada and Arizona are also too close to call - with results in Nevada potentially not expected for days.

If Democrats lose control of either chamber of Congress, Republicans will be able to block President Joe Biden's agenda.

Voter exit polls show that abortion policy and inflation were the main reasons people voted yesterday.

There's a lot still at stake, and BBC correspondents from across the US will be answering your questions today.
