Brianna Ghey: Mother makes emotional speech at vigil to mark a year since death

Brianna Ghey's mother has made an emotional speech at a vigil in Warrington marking one year since her daughter's death.

Speaking to mourners, Esther Ghey told them to "hug your children tight" and thanked them for coming to pay their respects.

Sixteen-year-old Brianna, who was transgender, was stabbed 28 times in Warrington, Cheshire.

Scarlett Jenkinson and Eddie Ratcliffe were convicted of her murder in December.
