Sarah Everard's murderer should have had 'police career denied to him'
The man who murdered Sarah Everard in south London in 2021 should never have been a police officer, an inquiry into the case has found.
Dame Elish Angiolini found that "without a significant overhaul, there is nothing to stop another Couzens operating in plain sight".
Couzens was given a whole life sentence for abducting, raping and murdering Ms Everard in March 2021.
