Prodrive creating 30 new jobs over luxury car contract

A motor sport firm is creating 30 jobs as it prepares to manufacture cars at a Warwickshire site for the first time.
Work will take place at Prodrive's base at Honiley near Kenilworth after it secured a contract to build a limited edition luxury car for another company.
The vehicle, which will sell for a six-figure sum, is to be launched later this year, Prodrive said.
Work on assembling the luxury cars will start in April at the base near the West Midlands border.
The Honiley site, where car development takes place, has been used since 2000 by the company.
The firm employs about 500 people in the UK.
Its headquarters are in Banbury, Oxfordshire, and the company also has a site in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.
