East Midlands switches to digital-only television

The final switchover to digital-only television for most of Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire is taking place.
Earlier this month, BBC Two analogue was switched off and new digital channels became available.
On Wednesday, the remaining analogue television channels will be turned off.
The latest changes, at the Waltham transmitter, mean viewers using Freeview, Top Up TV or BT Vision will need to retune.
Sky TV, Freesat and Virgin Media viewers will not be affected.
The Nottingham transmitter, serving a small area north west of the city, became fully digital in March, while Lincolnshire's analogue signal was turned off on 17 August.
The BBC is running theSwitchover Helpscheme, externalto help people convert their TV to digital if they are aged 75 or over, are disabled, have lived in a care home for six months or more, or are registered blind or partially sighted.
