More than 100 pieces of work by artist David Hockney have been auctioned in London.
Auctioneer Christie's said it sold about 147 pieces of artwork spanning across the artist's 50-year career.
The auctioneer said it had seen hundreds of people through its door to preview the work prior to the sale.
The Bradford-born artist is currently exhibiting A Bigger Picture at the Royal Academy of Arts, which features a variety of new work.
The 147 works included etchings, lithographs, drawings and photographs, including some of his earliest work while he studied at the Royal College of Art between 1959 and 1962.
Christie's said it expected to raise in excess of £1m from the auction.
