Minis head from capital to coast
- Published
Thousands of Minis have been driven to the south coast for the annual London to Brighton rally.
More than 2,000 drivers of vintage and modern Minis travelled from the capital to park along the city's seafront.
The route took them down the M23 from Crystal Palace passing through Caterham and Reigate in Surrey.
The annual event is organised by the London & Surrey Mini Owners Club, which describes it as "arguably the largest one-make car show in the world".
Organisers sold 2,100 official tickets, but the event is attended by hundreds more drivers.
