UKIP MEP Mike Hookem denies punching Steven Woolfe

The UKIP MEP Mike Hookem has denied punching a fellow MEP.

Steven Woolfe collapsed at the European Parliament in Strasbourg on Thursday just a few hours after an altercation with Mr Hookem and is receiving hospital treatment.

Mr Hookem, who is an MEP for the Yorkshire and Humber, insisted there was merely a "scuffle" between the two men.
