This ammonite was taken in Helwell Bay, Somerset. Mr Lake said he spent seven days walking along the Somerset coastline up to Bristol

This photograph was taken near Hinkley Point nuclear power station.

Mr Lake told BBC Somerset he was "charmed" by Somerset, adding: "There's no headlining destination that you can sum up in one picture, it's very varied. I was very surprised and enjoyed it."

This picture of a rainbow above the Bristol Channel, from North Hill, Minehead, was taken just as Mr Lake completed the South West coast path.

These lower lias sedimentary rocks were taken in Watchet, West Somerset.

This sea defence was taken in Porlock. Mr Lake is mostly camping overnight on his walk - as it takes him to remote parts of the coastline.

In this photo, there is a small glimpse of Wales in the far distance.

The West Somerset Railway's steam train was photographed near Minehead, Somerset.

Mr Lake hopes his project will bring him a better understanding of the UK coastline and the people he meets.
