'Extreme flooding' in 2024, warns rivers expert
BBC Midlands Today's Rebecca Wood has been looking back at the weather of 2023, and seeing what experts are predicting for next year.
Over the course of the last 12 months, the weather presenter has been reporting on heatwaves, flooding - and polar bears.
She's been talking to former Environment Agency area manager Dave Throup, who is an expert in flooding issues created by the River Severn and River Wye across Shropshire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire.
He predicts more "extreme flooding" across the region in 2024.
