The Road Ahead: Potholes in Beds, Herts and Bucks
Potholes in the three counties range in size and scale, but how bad are they in your area? We want to know as part of BBC research called 'The Road Ahead' which looks at council pothole provision.
Potholes tend to get worse in winter as water gets into the tarmac and expands when it freezes, making the cracks bigger and the holes larger.
The Department for Transport has announced that councils in England will be given more than £100m extra funding to spend on repairing potholes this year. If safe to do so, e-mail your worst pothole pictures across Beds, Herts and Bucks to threecounties@bbc.co.uk
When sending us pictures, video or eyewitness accounts at no time should you endanger yourself or others, take any unnecessary risks or infringe any laws.
