Murder inquiry over Luton cyclist's death

The death of a cyclist in Luton is being treated as murder, police have said.

Delaney Brown, 19, from Luton, died after a car collided with his bike in Vincent Road shortly before 16:15 BST on 5 September.

An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and freed on bail.

A 26-year-old man arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving has been released without charge.

Officers from the Major Crime Unit have appealed for witnesses.

Det Insp John Arthur said: "It is clear that there are people who have either witnessed this incident or who have knowledge of this incident.

"We need their assistance and appeal for them to come forward with any information."
