A 17-year-old boy has been charged with wounding after two teenagers were stabbed outside a college.

It happened on Monday afternoon outside shops on Hatfield Road near Oaklands College in St Albans, Hertfordshire.

Two teenagers, aged 16 and 17, were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The suspect, from Hatfield, has been charged with two counts of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm and being in possession of cannabis.

He was remanded in custody.
