High Wycombe bus fire outside school closes road

Firefighters were called at 07:02 BST to a bus fire in High Wycombe

A bus caught fire outside a school in Buckinghamshire.

Firefighters from High Wycombe and a crew from Beaconsfield attended the incident on the A404, Amersham Road, in High Wycombe shortly after 07:00 BST.

Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said while this was in the area close to the Royal Grammar School, it had not affected the school.

Thames Valley Police also attended and the road was closed while the emergency services worked at the scene.

There were no reported injuries.
