Watch: Fly-tipper blocks Beaconsfield road on Christmas Day

CCTV footage has been released showing a van driver blocking a road on Christmas Day by fly-tipping rubbish.

It happened on 25 December 2022 in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire.

The culprit was caught after residents and businesses checked their security camera footage and helped confirm the description of the vehicle.

The driver pleaded guilty to fly-tipping at High Wycombe Magistrates' Court on 25 January.

The case had been delayed due to a change of address which meant the driver failed to attend an earlier hearing.

The driver was fined £693, ordered to pay £1,838.70 to Buckinghamshire Council to cover the cost of the clean up and investigation and a victim surcharge of £277.
