Suspected drink-driver arrested after A10 crash death

A man in his 50s has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and causing death by dangerous driving after another driver died in a car crash.

Hertfordshire Police said it was called to a collision on the A10 Buntingford Bypass at about 06:35 GMT on Saturday.

The force said three vehicles were involved in the crash - an Audi, a Porsche and a Nissan.

A man who was driving the Audi died at the scene and a woman was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.

Sgt Nicholas Kane said: "Our thoughts are with the man's loved ones at this very difficult time. We are in the early stages of our investigation and are working to establish the full circumstances of the collision.

"I'd like to hear from anyone who was travelling in the area and may have witnessed the collision or the events leading up to it."
