Police are appealing for dashcam footage after a teenage girl was injured in a hit-and-run near a school.

Thames Valley Police said the girl was walking past the entrance to Glastonbury Thorn School in Milton Keynes when she was hit by a grey car at about 08:15 GMT on Thursday.

She was taken to hospital with minor injuries and has since been discharged.

The vehicle is described as being "possibly" a Kia 4x4. Anyone with information is asked to call 101.

PC James Ferriman, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: "If you were driving in the area around the time of the collision and have a dashcam, or if you live nearby and have a CCTV camera or a video doorbell, I'd also ask that you check any recordings in case it has captured something that could assist us."
