One of two bridges in Reading that cross the River Thames will be closed over the weekend for resurfacing work.

Traffic and bus service disruption is expected while Caversham Bridge is closed from 08:00 to 20:00 BST on Saturday and Sunday.

The work is part of a £1.2m project to resurface 17 major roads in Reading, which is expected to be completed by the end of the school summer holidays.

Traffic will be diverted across Reading Bridge.
