A variety of warm spaces are available for people across Oxfordshire

A network of warm hubs across the county is being made available for the public over the winter months.

Across Berkshire, community organisations have said there will be places for people to gather to stay warm.

The BBC has collated a list of publicly available spaces. If you know of another space or hub, please email the details to south.newsonline@bbc.co.uk for inclusion.

All Reading's libraries have varying opening days and times, which can be checked on the council website.

  • Wycliffe Baptist Church Community Cafe, 233 Kings Road, Reading RG1 4LS - Tuesday 09:30 to 15:00 and Wednesday 16::30 to 21:00. Normally £1.50 for a drink but have a pay it forward system for those that can't afford it.

  • Norcot Mission Church, Oasis Cafe, Brockley Close, RG30 4YP - Fridays 10:00 to 15:00

  • St Michael's Church, The Morlais Room,New Lane Hill, Tilehurst, RG30 4JX - Thursdays 12:00 to 17:00 No charge, but donations appreciated.

  • There is also a regular Wednesday lunch group, cost £5 for two courses - please book in advance on 0118 942 7331. Lunch starts at 12:30pm. It is followed at 2pm by a "Knit and Natter" group, to which all are very welcome.

  • St Matthew's Church, 205 Southcote Lane, Southcote, RG30 3AX - Fridays 12:30 to 15:00 . Soup and bread in a warm space.

  • St George's Tilehurst, St George's Road, Reading RG30 2RG - Fridays 12:00 to 16:00.

Museums

  • Reading Museum, Reading Town Hall - Tuesday to Friday 10:00 to 16:00 and 10:00 to 17:00 on Saturday. Closed from Saturday 24 December to Monday 2 January inclusive.
